Back in action...

Well readers its time for another instalment in the life of Nick.

I now have a new job at Video Ezy for while im at uni, and I start on sat night, so that should be a whole lot of fun.

Only 3 weeks till I finsh my current job and then 1 more week after that till I Start back at uni.

My studying is going well, to get myself prepared for uni.

In wow news, Hobbs is now level 60, so I have a bit of catching up to do, im level 54. But I have been playing my hunter a bit lately, which is now up to level 18.

Not much else going on I shall talk to all of you later on.

Well it has been awhile almost a month. So what Have I been up to in the last month.

Well there has been work, work and more work. And there was Xmas, which was a great day, spent with family and friends.

New years was spent at lake taylor, which was great couple of days.

In other news I am now Level 53 In wow. Im so close to being 60 that I can almost smell it.

But the most important news is that I have handed my notice in at my job and Im going back to uni to become a CA.

This is another one of R A Salvatore's books about the Drow Ranger Drizzt Do'Urden. Whist these books are written to a formula, it is a highly enjoyable formula, that has looks of action and keeps the reader wanting to read page after page.

However after countless books about the same charcters it would be nice to see him start a new IP. And break away from the Forgotten Realms setting.

This book is worth reading if you want a good action filled story.

Hi everybody, its time for another post.

Saturday I went and saw Harry Potter Finally and what an excelent movie it was. But I really think that you have to read the books before you watch the movie. As it jumps around and dosnt explain things propely.

Apart from watching harry potter, my weekend has been nice and boring.

Lets find out what has been happening in the life of Nick.

I got my new laptop on tuesday, which I have to say is very good. I have been getting a little sick of wow lately so i think I will take a break from the game. Not sure how long it will last though.

Today I had the day off work, to go to a course on the holiday pay act, which was highly informative, and being the only male in a group of 30 woman, did have some added benefits.

I also brought some fancy new clothes for Bevans wedding in a couple weeks time.

Tonight im off to see the Harry potter movie, which should be good. Tommorow is the libary book sale, so I will have a whole lot of books to buy. However all my bookcases are full. So im not sure where these new books will go.

So plenty of new reading for my weekly Book reviews.

My new Feature

Well from today Im going to start a new Feature, which will be a weekely book review of a book I have just read.

So here Goes

White Wolf by David Gemmell. Book one of the Dammed

Now this book has been writen in general David gemmell Fashion. Heroes that are far from perfect, and who quite often do the right(wrong) thing for their own peace of mind.

David Gemmells heroes are always larger in life, and are unstopable fighting machines.

This book is a favourite of mine I have read it about 6 times, and I will read it many more times.
This is a book I would highly suggest reading if you have any interst in Heroic Fantasy.

David Gemmell, has many other books and all are as good as this one or better.

Well im posting again and it hasnt even been a week since my last post.

Well I ended up going to Kakioura on saturday where I climbed Mt fyfe, a 1600 meter peak. That took about 8 hours to get up there and get down. I was right stuffed after that walk.

It was good fun though, but my legs were stuffed the next day at work.

In other news I have found one of the funniest rants that I have ever seen on the internet.

Well im back, and dam has it been a long time since I have made a post.

Well I have found a new Online comic to read, ninja Monkey. Which is quite crazy and offbeat.
I like it a lot, but am not sure if anybody else will like it, but check it out anyway

Today is a public holiday, so yay no work and its stinking hot today. Today I have played some wow. Mowed the lawns and have now started to water the garden.

The rest of the weekend is unplanned so far but should be great times.

Well today is monday the last day of the long weekend and back to work tommorow.

Oh well all good thing have to come to an end.

This weekend has gone by pretty quickly. Anna was here for the weekend.

Yesterday went to the driving range, and played some mini golf. I have also brought a new cellphone with a camera on it.

I have played quite a bit of wow this weekend and have got about 200 honour kills in the battle ground. I am trying to get corporal rank, I have 6000 honour, and I need about 15000 to get Corporal. So its going to take me awhile to get it.

So another post.

Last night was drinks at Adams which was a whole lot of fun. And I pulled off the robin hood shot at darts being able to get a dart stuck in another dart.

Today has been kinda boring so far I have played wow and read enchanters end game today.

In wow I made level 43 and joint a new guild. My old guild went downhill alot after the guild manger stopped playing. So then I joint Orginal Gangstaz on thursday, but that was crap with not enough members.

But now I have been accepted into the order of the allumanti. Which is a well established guild with lots of members, so hopefully it will work out a lot better.

Well im back from my long abscence. As my public has been demanding that I start updating my site again.

Now I bet you have all been wondering what I have been up to these last couple of weeks. Well the two main things have been World of Warcraft and Working.

Work has been the same as always, nothing new going on there.

World of Warcraft I am now level 42 and have my free mount. This makes the game so much better.

This weekend is a long weekend so its a time to party hard and get smashed.

Friday Night in wellington

Well the weekend in wellington was great.

It started with the best plane ride of all time, with some crazy turblence and me making some lady almost cry because I was having so much fun in the turblence.

Im sure some of you are wondering how i made some lady almost cry, and it was because during the worst of the turblence I said that I need a cowboy hat and wave it around in the air. Most people thought this was very funny and laughed.

Friday night when we got there scott was having a party, where I met some truly excelent people, and I got nice and drunk.

I am one very tired Nick. I was up till 4am last night playing WOW. And then had three hours of sleep before going to work. I am totally whacked out.

The call of duty 2 Demo is now avalaible. woot woot. I am downloading it at the moment, and I will update in the next couple of days my opinion of this game.

This weekend im off to wellington with Haslet and Adam to see scott and drink a whole lot of Alchol.

Last night I went to the casino for dinner and lost all my money, but at least the food was good. After that I went to Davids place to get my rouges do it from behind tee shirt from penny arcade.

Then I went to pacs to play trival prusit, where hobbs and I narowly lost.

Then it was off to the casino again, to meet up with andy and matt. Then into town where I met up with Kris and Stacey. Then home at 2am.

Today I have played a bit of wow, with my warlock this time, done my washing and seen my cousin for her 2nd birthday.

Not much going on here, so im going to go to bed.

Hiya everybody.

I went out for dinner last night to the Speights Ale House, which was very good and cheap. I would recomend that everybody go there. I had lamb shanks and Fruit crumble.

Today has been kinda boring so far, I have tried to do VC again in WOW with my rouge. God damit do I hate this instance. Eight attempts with two differnet charcters and I still havent finshed it yet. Stupid groups that always disband halfway through the instance. Im really pissed off about this.

I really want to finsh off this instance so I can get my Blackened defias set for my rouge. Got the gloves, just need 4 other items.

Well im going to head back in.

Well not much going on here. I did meet the stupidest person I have ever met on WOW. I still cant beleive how stupid they were. I am still pissed off at it, 2 days after it happened.

Work is really boring at the mo, i cant be bothered with it.

At least it is friday tommorow so the weekend soon, yay.

I didnt get the house as I couldnt boorow enough to buy that house so im going to look at some others.

Snowing...

Thats right people it snowed today in christchurch. And when I say snow I mean it really snowed for a few hours and I almost had the day off work, but alas work was still on.

So I finally got into some world of warcraft playing. And was it good, I got halfway to level 38 and got 3 levels on my rouge. Which is now Level 17 and ready to tackle VC, and hopefully get the blackened defias set.

Well not much else going on here so i think i will get going, and catch all of you later

Blizcon

Its sunday and time to post again.

I would like to draw everybodys attention to the important dates of 28th - 29th of October. You may be wondering why these dates are important. One word sums this up Blizzcon.

Check out http://www.blizzcon.com/ for all the information about this event. If I lived in calforina I would be there, but sadly im not.

This is important to me, as the new expansion disk for WOW, will be shown to the world for the fist time. Also it is rumoured that Diablo 3 will be annouced there and a psp version of Diablo 2. Woot Woot.

Also the first public play sessions of Starcraft ghost.

Sadly there is still a month to wait, but at least I can play WOW, till then though.

Well Annas Farewell party was last night. And boy was it a good night, I got far too drunk, but I did not get kicked out of any bars so it was all good.

But now im feeling a little bit worse for wear. I still have not played wow. So its been almost a week since I last played.

Yesterday I got Spider man 2 UMD for my psp. And it looks very cool on the psp.

Today I had lunch at the casino, with Mess, Anna and Andy. Which was good times.

I also voted today, seeing as nobody gave me any alchol, I got to vote for who I wanted too.

Which was Gerry Brownlee And ACT.

Today I also went to an open home, just down the road from my parents house. It was a very cool 2 bedroom townhouse, but is probably a little out of my price range. Well time will tell as im off to see a mortage broker on monday to see how much I can borrow.

So I will get back to you on this one.

Today has been very boring. And my reslove is begining to crack on the world of warcraft. Last night I even dreamt about the game. And there is the new patch to download which adds a New 15 player CTF Battleground. Which I really want to try out.

But im going to tough it out and wait for the weekend, im going to show it whos boss. And I have decided that I will vote for the party that gives me a bottle of sprits. Or for that matter if somebody gives me a bottle of sprits that I like and Tell me to vote for a party. I will.

So the challenge has been put down, if you want me to vote for your party, give me a bottle of sprits.

Well there is not much else going on here...

So I might go and do something else.

Well tonight was pizza night. Which was a bit of a shock as it is normally wednesday night. I had a BBQ chicken pizza which was excelent as always.

Pizza night was a day early beacuse anna could not make on wednesday, due to an exam or something. And cos it was on tuesday a lot more people turned up.

Well I have not played world of warcraft today, and im allready starting to feel a bit ansty. Im going to try and not play till the weekend. I shall see how I go.

Tommorow my aunty jack and Cosuin G are staying at our place for a week. So it will be a very full and noisy house.

Friday is Anna's going away party, so if you are in christchurch you should go. It will be a great time.

Wow a thrid update in a row. What is going on here.

Today was as boring as Mondays always are. I got to show off my psp at work which was kinda cool. And I got my 1gig Memeroy stick duo today. So now i can really put some shit on my psp.

I am giving wow a rest for the next couple of days, ill shall tell you how the withdrawal symptoms go.

In all honesty I did log on tonight for 5 mins, because one of my guildes needed some armor made. But that is all part of being My guilds Talior.

Well not much else going on I might go to bed, play some Wipeout pure and Finsh my book.

Sundays Update.

Well I finally got to use my psp after it had finshed charging. And it is one hell of a good gaming system. I played Wipeout pure, put some mp3's, photos's and movies on it.

And last night I went to mess's flat to play magic, and I was able to use their Wireless internet to surf the net with my psp.

Today has been a very lazy day. I made level 37 in WOW, and did the Scarlet Monsatary Instance for the first time. And it is by far the best instance I have done so far. But I missed out on the two items that I wanted from the bosses in there. So im going to have go back in with another group and try and get them.

Well tommorow is monday, worst day of the week I reckon. and I have to go to work.

Well not much else to talk about im going to get going and get some sleep.

Well its been a while since my last Update.

Last night I watched Dvds with Anna, Jason and Kylie. We watched basketball, which is a movie by Trey Parker And Matt Stone. The creators of Southpark. If you like South Park I suggest that you watch this movie.

Today I have brought A PSP. Which if you dont know is the new portable gaming machine by sony. It is still charging at the momment. I cant wait to give it a go, it should be a whole lot of fun.

Well this weekend has been a good one. It all started with Playing Magic with Anna, Mess and Nicola on friday night. Also there has been a lot of World of Warcraft this weekend. And now im almost level 35.

Saturday night, i watched the rugby and went to town. The rugby was good but town was pretty shit. I really wasnt in the mood for town.

Today I have been cleaning my room and playing Wow.

Well This week has been a very good one so far, long may it continue.

Monday, i went around and saw Anna and played magic the gathering with her. Where she won most of the games.

Tuesdsay I put in a mammoth 4 hour session of WOW, now I am almost up to level 33.

Tonight was Pizza night, which was held at Adams house. Pizza night was attented by Me, Adam, Anna, Mess and Dom. I had a BBQ chicken pizza from Domminos, which was excellent.

Now im about to play some WOW, and get to level 33. Have a great night everybody.
